In case you were wondering...

Can we check in early/check out late? 🕒

Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am. We totally get the desire to extend your stay (we often ask the same when we travel :p), and we're generally more than happy to accommodate by an hour or two. However, if there are other guests checking in/out right before/after you, unfortunately our cleaners require the full window of time to allow for ours and other cleans. We won't be able to guarantee if there are other bookings until the day prior, so please do message us then to confirm timing.   

How close are you to Sandbanks? 📍

Our Bridge Street location is quite close, about a 14-minute drive to Lake Ontario Beach, Outlet Beach, and West Lake Beach (head here for the Dunes). The Farmhouse is about a half hour drive.

Do you provide a parking pass for Sandbanks? 🚗

We do! Sandbanks Provincial Park is open from April-October, and we offer Ontario Parks summer vehicle permits. They'll be in the kitchen drawer when you arrive, and we just kindly ask that you return them before you checkout.

Are you walkable to restaurants? 🍔

Absolutely, our Bridge location is no more than a 7-minute walk from Picton Main Street, home of the County Canteen, Acoustic Grill, the Vic Cafe and others. Of all the small towns in the County, Picton has the best selection of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and shops. Take a look at our Top 10 list.

The Farmhouse is a bit further out from town, about a 15-minute drive to the main strip.

How close are you to the wineries? 🥂

There are dozens of wineries scattered all across the County, as well as breweries, cideries and distilleries (check out our list of some of our favourites). We're located right within Picton, a short drive from most (and read below about custom wine tours).

Would you recommend any wine/drink tour providers? 🚌

Certainly, we're happy to connect you with some of our preferred local drivers to arrange a custom tour for your group.

Do Uber/Lyft operate in the County? 🚕

Ride shares are starting to pickup with a handful of drivers, but not always readily available across PEC. The Taxi Guy is based out of our town of Picton though, and you can reach them at (613) 403-2766.

Are we able to rent bikes? 🚲

Yes, Jeff and the team at County Bike Rentals pick-up and deliver bikes right our front door in Picton, which is incredibly convenient. Or if you want to spend the afternoon out on Closson Road, connect with Closson Road Cycles.

Are your places suitable for kids? 👪

Absolutely. Plenty of space for groups of all shapes/sizes - spacious rooms, big backyards, board games, you name it. Check out our listings at both Bridge Street and the Farmhouse to learn more.

Do you have a BBQ? 🥩

We do! Gas hookup, with tongs/utensils. Plus, a beautiful outdoor deck with patio seating for large groups.
